Puede que en alguna ocasi\u00f3n vuestro\u00a0cPanel os env\u00ede un mensaje como el siguiente:<\/p>\n

\"Your WHM server is configured with IP address X.X.X.X\u00a0and has a misconfigured hostname. This misconfiguration can cause some services on your server to not restart properly. The cause of your misconfiguration is:<\/em><\/p>\n

WHM has detected a manual hostname change.<\/em><\/p>\n

To fix this problem, we recommend that you perform the following action:<\/em><\/p>\n

Update your hostname in WHM\u2019s (https:\/\/XXX.unelink.net:2087\/scripts2\/changehostname) interface (Home \u00bb Networking Setup \u00bb Change Hostname).<\/em>\"<\/p>\n

Esto puede ser solucionado de dos formas:<\/p>\n

1.\u00a0Dentro de vuestro WHM buscad la opci\u00f3n \"Cambiar el nombre de host\" y acceder a ella:<\/p>\n

Cambiar nombre host<\/p><\/div>\n

En esta opci\u00f3n ten\u00e9is\u00a0la posibilidad de cambiar el hostname de vuestro servidor. Si veis\u00a0que el hostname es\u00a0correcto, tan solo deb\u00e9is\u00a0pulsar el bot\u00f3n \"Change\" para se\u00a0guarden de nuevo los cambios y se realicen todas las acciones necesarias.<\/p>\n

Cambiar host<\/p><\/div>\n

Una vez realizado el cambio o la confirmaci\u00f3n del hostname, ten\u00e9is que acceder a vuestro servidor por\u00a0SSH y ejecutar el siguiente comando:<\/p>\n

\/usr\/local\/cpanel\/scripts\/check_valid_server_hostname<\/pre>\n
Si, una vez realizados estos pasos, todav\u00eda recib\u00eds el email con el aviso, pod\u00e9is seguir las siguientes instrucciones.<\/p>\n
2. En esta otra opci\u00f3n cambiaremos el hostname desde una conexi\u00f3n SSH a vuestro servidor.<\/p>\n
Para ello, ejecutad los siguientes comandos en el terminal:<\/p>\n
hostname\r\nnuevonombre.miservidor.com\r\ngrep HOST \/etc\/wwwacct.conf\r\nHOST antiguonombre.miservidor.com<\/pre>\n
Donde en \"nuevonombre\" y \"antiguonombre\" ten\u00e9is que indicar el\u00a0nuevo y el anterior hostname, y en \"miservidor.com\" el nombre de vuestro servidor.<\/p>\n
